Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Punchers) versus Elizabeth Gillies (Beevers Babes USA )

When these girls met last September Shay knocked Liz out in the 9th round of a tough fight. Her pal Troain Bellisario equaled that feat in March this year, and the two Pretty Little Punchers are said to be having a private contest as to which of them can beat Lizzie the quicker. This is Lizie’s first fight since she took that beating, and Shay is a red hot favourite to win.

But Lizzie Gillies is a promising young fighter, and she’s first into the ring, wearing a black leather bodice, with matching panties, gloves and boots. Shay soon joins her, wearing a white bikini with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

Lizzie is really positive in the opening seconds, and she’s beating Shay to the punch with something to spare as the fight gets off to a fairly slow starts, Shay swaying side to side, and not offering enough back in retaliation, Liz finding her with a crisp left jab as the round progresses, and Shay isn’t at all happy, with Liz now able to clip her lips with a right cross to follow, the younger girl really up for this fight, and she hurts a subdued Shay with a good right hook to her ribs, trying to work her backwards and into a corner, Shay showing her strength and power by resisting that, but she’s not really offered anything but defensive muscle in a horrid opening round.

Round 2

Liz is looking good again, and she gives Shay a sweet left hook, right cross combination, then has to take a sharp left to her body in response, but she takes the punch, and gives Shay some back, again finding her with a left and a right, really starting to increase the pressure on the older girl, who finds herself backed into the ropes, tries to punch her way out, at last showing some fighting ability, but Liz wobbles her with a cracking right hook. Shay clinches after that effort, but the referee parts the girls quickly, and Liz cracks home another right hook on Shay’s cheek, a good punch again, but she can’t put her down. Shay’s still out of sorts, distracted somehow, and she’s starting to bruise around her left cheek as Elizabeth continues with this dominant display.

Round 3

Liz is still learning her craft at this level, and she’s maybe starting to become a little over eager, and she’s not waited to establish herself in this round, as she starts reaching for big punches in the opening seconds, and now she gets caught inside as Shay clinches, leaving herself room to thud some heavy blows into Liz’s ribs, the younger girl showing her inexperience as Shay starts roughing her up inside, giving her plenty to the body. Liz counters, gets clear, and catches Shay with a left hook, but Shay’s getting herself more active, and she’s hurt Liz in the final seconds with a solid left hook to Liz’s liver.

Round 4

Liz is moving well again, and she flicks her jab into Shay’s face, the older girl stepping backwards, and Liz gets in close – too close - Shay starts banging away at Liz’s body form close range, and these shots must be taking the air out of the youngster’s lungs. The referee breaks the latest clinch, and Liz is trying to get clear, sure that she can hurt Shay if she has room, but Shay’s starting to look stronger by the minute, and she’s got another heavy left hook through into Liz’s body as the round draws to a close, Liz squealing, and Shay brutally crushes her with speedy attack to her face, winning the round and glaring at her young opponent, who winces as she sits on her stool.

Round 5

The girls are both looking for action in what’s becoming even more of a grudge matchup, and as Shay comes in close, she gets nailed with a straight right from Liz, and that’s slowed her down, Liz giving her a pair of crisp left hooks to the face, and Shay again starts to concede ringspace, her right eye looking puffy, a target for abuse. Sure enough, Liz is focusing on it, but she needs to be careful, because a wounded Shay Mitchell is dangerous, and she gives the kid some more punishment to her body, but this time Liz seems to be clinching more quickly, and as the round draws to a close, Liz is starting to boss Shay again now, moving the older girl around the ring, Shay possible becoming disheartened, as she hasn’t slowed the girl down at all as yet.

Round 6

Shay’s looking vulnerable with that swollen cheek getting steadily worse, and she has to take a couple of big shots from Liz in the early seconds – the kid sends Shay backwards once again, and now Shay has gone into a really defensive attitude, not letting Liz get any space for leverage on her impressive punches, the older girl clinching and holding, the referee being kept bust here tonight, and young Liz is getting frustrated, bossing the fight, but she can’t land any clean shots, and she’s getting a little untidy, finding that Shay still has strength left as the Pretty Little Puncher hits her to the ribs, Liz once more cuffing her face in the closing seconds, a little smear of blood on Shay’s lips.

Round 7

An eager Liz is again fast off her stool, and she lands another good left and right combination on Shay’s face – but this time Shay’s returning fire, and there’s a fierce exchange between the girls, Shay crashing a left hook and a right into Liz’s face, stunning her and sending her backwards towards a neutral corner. Liz looks a little dazed, and Shay hurts her again with a big left hook, Liz drifting forward to clinch, but Shay rips a left hook into her body, thuds her backwards with a right cross, and now she pins her to the ropes and batters her, Liz’s senses scrambled, her face distorted as Shay lands leather on it – Liz tries to fight back, but she’s taken a lot of punishment in this round, and she’s dribbling blood from her left nostril as Shay bullies her and controls her for the first time in the fight.

Round 8

Liz really doesn’t look too good now, a little wobbly on those shapely legs of hers, and Shay’s grinning as she attacks her, slamming her backwards towards those ropes again, where she gives the kid’s body a heavy working over, tears welling up and dribbling down Liz’s reddened cheeks even before Shay unloads a left hook on her jaw to floor her: Lizzie beats the count at 8, and she insists that she’s OK, but Shay’s in the mood to give her some more punishment, and she’s got her backed up to the ropes now, Liz’s eyes glassy as the older girl beats he up, and in comes the referee to stop the fight.

Result: Shay Mitchell stopped Elizabeth Gillies in round 8.

Shay is crowing that she’s beaten Lizzie again tonight, with the poor girl again tasting defeat from a Pretty Little Puncher – but this was far from a straightforward victory for Shay, who was behind on all three judges cards before that knockdown.

Elizabeth Gillies is again protected by medical staff from being humiliated after the fight – maybe she needs an easier opponent next time to start building a more solid base of experience.
