Lyndsy Fonseca versus Caity Lotz
(Independent; 8-6, 5 KO vs Lookout! Boxing, 6-4, 2 KO)
Results: Lookout! / Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Recent trade rumours have called Caity Lotz into PPV action and the blonde actress wants to remind everyone she's not exactly the most overlooked girl on the Lookout! Boxing roster and demands more respect than she received from the latest predictions article, "I haven't made a career out of fighting second tier indie girls like some experts preach!", she says before tonight's clash, "I'm really determined to succeed at this stage and with Vanessa Hudgens giving me some extra tips I know I'm here to stay. Plus I won't become Kat Graham's replacement once she gets booted out of her camp! I'm too proud to become a spot filler!"

Life hasn't been so good for Lyndsy Fonseca lately, the gorgeous free agent desperately tries to rise above the CW brat status and beating any member of the Lookout! stable remains a valuable scalp even if Caity's not exactly the second coming of Vanessa Hudgens. Lyndsy eyes some Latin gut check against the likes of Selena Gomez or Victoria Justice down the road but for now promises to deal with "an annoying blonde trash" and that's not very kind towards her tonight's opponent but still fits the hot temper agenda so desired among the fans and experts alike.

Lyndsy Fonseca wears a neon green bandeau bikini set and black gloves. Dark brown hair in loose waves, curled at the bottom. Caity Lotz wears a silver bikini top, white knickers and pink gloves. Long blonde hair loose. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls are really cautious at the start and that indicates neither has much confidence required to dominate her opponent however down the stretch Fonseca makes the most of her longer reach and begins to swing around the blonde's temples clipping her several times in the proccess. Caity's happy to sit back and see what the Latin vixen has on offer but becomes too lethargic and eats a decent flurry which dismantles her guard rather worryingly. That's not exactly Vanessa's school of boxing but Lyndsy doesn't mind and sticks more leather into the blonde's face smacking her head side to side and being unfortunate not to trap Lotz against the ropes in the dying seconds when the Lookout! girl simply ducks for cover and runs away from the exchange to leave the audience stunned.

Round 2:
Perhaps the trade rumours have frozen Caity's self-awareness as she accepts a swinging approach from Lyndsy who cracks more punches on the cheeks and looks genuinely shocked over a non-existent response. She drives her gloves into the quickly redenning cheeks and snaps Lotz's head back, wobbles her on the heels with a swift uppercut and bumps off into the corner where she ignores the high guard and rips into the breadbasket leaving Caity in all sorts of bother, aching and gasping for air as the bell to bell beating concludes with another piercing uppercut that smacks the blonde's guard aside and whips her against the turnbuckle.

Round 3:
Lyndsy looks set to maintain the rout after trapping the slow moving blonde midring and hammering away at her cheeks again however Caity finally ducks underneath the onslaught and peppers the brunette's guts instead showing some much needed resistance and willingness to actually box tonight! That gets the crowd going and Fonseca has to yield real estate after a couple of crisp jabs bruised her ribcage, the fight resumes in mid distance but there's more speed and agility from the blonde now who outworks the Latin vixen and lands more jabs on the body to pull one round back despite a visible lack of power from both sides thus far.

Round 4:
The lack of a big punch remains the ultimate bother for all fans watching this fight and now Lyndsy begins to miss her shots unable to cover the vastly improved footwork of her opponent. Lotz bunny hops around the brunette and sends single punches to the body, clips the rack and avoids a swinging counter as Fonseca doesn't seem keen to brawl it out and seeks a deciding haymaker to resume her superiority instead. Wide circles from Lotz enforce a fruitless chase and the response begins to stack up down the stretch as the blonde pays the facial swelling back and rips a late flurry into Lyndsy's face, staggers her in the middle of the ring and finds probably the biggest punch of the night when she nails the brunette on the liver area and makes her gasp really loud at the bell looking somewhat uneasy on her legs.

Round 5:
Lyndsy looked good when Caity was stuck in reverse in the opening two rounds but as the time wears on. she struggles to make any sort of impact and is woefully exposed in the footwork department again sliding all over the canvas in a fruitless chase before her head starts bopping side to side as the blonde triggers the counterpunching nightmare. Fonseca's reach advantage is toppled by sheer ammount of work and there are shades of early days Hudgens as she rips the brunette to the body, clips the rack and finds the jaw repeatedly to drive a visibly aching Lyndsy back to the ropes. One last attempt to escape more Lookout! leather goes begging and Fonseca is drilled butt-in-ropes with a cross hooking combo that gives her a fat lip for a good measure! Lyndsy's eyes are glued to the canvas when she walks back to her stool and she really has something to think about!

Round 6:
Fonseca looks badly out of shape early in the sixth which is one of the biggest issues bothering the independent fighters and Caity's quick to punish the cheeks adding more facial misery as the brunette's knees begin to buckle. It's a swift turnaround from the second round to say the very least with Fonseca leaking punches left, right and center and allowing the blonde to pound her mercilessly on the body as well. The sheer agility brings Lotz all the joy in the world and when she drills the navel with a few clean punches, Lyndsy bends forward and has to clinch herself out of trouble that only enables the blonde to stick her shoulder into her jaw and bump her off onto the ropes. Lyndsy remains glued to the spot though and fails to embrace a looming cross hook; Caity smells blood now and lands more uppercuts to whip the aching brunette against the ropes with her head rocking back & forth at the bell and the blonde needing to be pulled away by the ref. Fonseca's in total disarray and doesn't look in any shape to continue but quitting on the stool might be the nail to her SSB coffin so...

Round 7:
...she's up for the seventh looking bleak and battled-weary as she barely raises her gloves in protection and gets swiftly spun to the side with Lotz powering ahead with more vicious jabbing and just going for a Barry Bonds-like walk-off.... one way traffic in the seventh which just adds more swelling to Fonseca's face and the fat lip looks even worse now as well... Caity drops her gloves for good just past the minute mark and slams a left hook on the brow ridge TO SEND LYNDSY SLIDING DOWN ON HER KNEES moments later... well, that was long-time coming and if the blonde had more core strenght in her, she'd have Fonseca down and out before half-distance already! The Latin girls sits down on her heels and she's truly had enough of this, she doesn't even make an effort to beat the count so it's an overwhelming KO7 Caity Lotz!!!

AFTER: That was a strange fight! Caity hardly landed a punch in the opening six minutes and yet stormed back to dissect Lyndsy's chances with methodical precision Vanessa Hudgens would be proud of! She still remains one of the smaller bantams around and her lack of a really big punch might hurt her chances to become a driving force in the division but early comparisons to Leighton Meester's rise from fly to bantam once performed by the Lookout! Boxing indicate that Paris Hilton and Michelle Trachtenberg are trying to pull the same trick with Lotz now! One can only speculate if that ends good or bad for the snarky blonde!

On the other hand, Lyndsy's pre-fight Latin gut check comments look really naive now as almost everyone in the audience believes that both Selena Gomez and Victoria Justice would simply LOVE to accept this challenge and give Fonseca the beating of the year! That was a terrible mess from Lyndsy tonight and when her opponent actually realized how to throw some punches, she never had a sniff of making it close let alone winning the fight.

Final result: Caity Lotz def. Lyndsy Fonseca KO7.
