BEFORE: "Can any of these Faiers sisters actually... well, you know... FIGHT?", Denise van Outen remains highly critical of the Essex siblings who are yet to taste success in their brief BBU stint as going seven rounds against Lisa Maffia apparently hardly impresses the BBU TV lead reporter. It's Billie's younger sister Sam who enjoyed that spell against the former divisional champ but was then blasted out by Girls Aloud's most famous redhead, Nicola Roberts who now vows to beat the blonde up to fully make amends for the Natasha Hamilton disaster from earlier this year. 

"Nicola's too experienced and too talented to waste her time against these clowns!", van Outen predicts rapid fire from the singer, "She's maybe a bit soft in the punch but Billie Faiers is even worse. I mean, just get her with some of these PageThrees wannabes and see how long she lasts there! Even though I'm an Essex girl, Billie gives a bad name to my neighbourhood and that's inexcusable!" 

Heavy talk from van Outen takes nothing away from the sheer value of Billie's cleavage; the TOWIE starlet topples the glamour charts wearing a light blue bikini set and black gloves. Nicola Roberts holds her own in a silver corset matched with black knickers and black gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. 

Round 1: 
Billie doesn't hang back and tries to stick it into the redhead with aggressive jabs but Nicola's quick on her feet in avoidance after all those music video dance routines and rips over the top to catch the buxom blonde on the ear and smack her on the lips thereafter. Billie begins to yelp just as she gets nailed but still leans forward and pummels through on the breasts before giving Nicola's jaw a solid uppercut check. Roberts doesn't buckle though and keeps working the high drill which becomes too much for the Essex girl and Faiers is outworked in the close range at the minute mark and has to jump to safety. However the singer just doesn't allow the escape to happen and blasts a low hooking combo on the ribs to slow Billie down and wobble her to the side after a renewed attempt finds the soft tissue. Bilie's backed into the ropes down the stretch and doesn't have the pace to match Roberts who rips a flurry of uppercuts on the rack to enforce more loud yelps from the aspiring TV starlet. Faiers bellows out butt-in-ropes afterwards and soaks up more punishment to the body as her promising start goes awry very quickly. 

Round 2: 
Nicola's too fast for the blonde to escape and Billie decides to just hammer it against the redhead's body as she fails to catch her upstairs but after landing a couple of good punches she gets blitzed over the top and has Roberts piercing her lips with aggressive jabbing and snapping the head back in circles. Billie soaks up some fine Girls Aloud treatment and trembles to her heels where she fails to keep her arms in tact and accepts more rack muggin' as Nicola pounds her back to the turnbuckle into the second minute and shoots for more facial success. She rips Billie's guard wide open with methodical but brutally effective punches and rocks the blonde's head back & forth before Faiers simply slumps on her knees and is unable to lift her mitts anymore... Nicole cracks a left hook on the eye AND SENDS THE STRUGGLING BLONDE ON HER KNEES with a loud gasp of despair... Billie's down and already looking like a hot mess here; she gets up at six and verbally abuses the redhead but it's all to no avail as Nicola keeps her trapped in the corner and now riffles a vicious series on the chest rocking the Essex jug up & down and against Faiers' slumped cheek... the girl begins to feel the heat and screams out in pain but just can't tame the redhead's onslaught and is whipped against the ropes in the final seconds with Roberts drilling her guts out in numbers and coming up just short of the stoppage as the ref looked like he was enjoying all this pounding himself and forgot to stop the fight! 

Round 3: 
After that torrid round Billie doesn't have the strenght in her - or even will - to trade leather with the singer and gets whacked between the arms seconds into the third with Nicole moving into uppercut frenzy to just dump the heavy-chested opponent back to the ropes where she easily exposes the midsection and jumps into a proper gut check. Faiers moans & aches in volumes and sinks on jelly knees before bending forward and into Nicola's embrace... the singer bumps her off against the ropes though and finds the cross hook on the nose that proves to be the money shot as Billie scowls in her demise and simply COLLAPSES TO THE SIDE with a loud thump not to rise before the count ends anymore... KO3 Nicola Roberts in strictly business fashion!!! 

AFTER: Charlie Webster is quick to have a word with our winner: "That was nicely done, Nicola but how about some REAL competition there?" 

"C'mon, you guys! What's wrong with me winning some fights! I've long struggled to gain enough respect around BBU and now when I really find my stride.. Natasha.. ehem.. ehem.. aside, then I'm getting picked at! None of you complained when Nadine Coyle blasted out Myleene Klass of all people and now when I beat not one but two Faiers chicks I'm the one taking an easy route? Sigh..." 

"OK, OK, don't get so upset here, Nicola. We still love you but what's the plan now? Last time we checked you've run out of Faiers sisters on BBU duty so...?" 

"Well, I see what I can do. Sarah Harding's been working really hard to get onto the Bastille Day PPV and I really wish Rebecca Ferguson did a better job on the X Factor fight with Fleur East. Those girls are fun to watch but well, perhaps I'll settle for someone else. As usual I am the last in the Girls Aloud queue to sign up for a fight! I hate you, Cheryl Cole! Why I can't have it sooo easy like you? Grrr... Turn it off, Charlie, I'm getting too emotional now..." 

And that's the story of Nicola Roberts' BBU career in a nutshell.... we'll be back in Cardiff after these commercials!
