BEFORE: Lily Collins started her 2015 campaign with a very unexpected victory over Kayleigh Pearson and now targets former BBU flyweight champion Emily Atack to a fast track improvement of her otherwise still mediocre career. Meanwhile Emily hasn't really done much since losing the title to Mikie Hara back in August 2013 and was outgunned by another Japanese Maria Ozawa as late as February but vows to derail Lily's ambitious plans and enters tonight's contest as heavy favorite according to Denise van Outen and the betting odds. 

Emily Atack wears a white basque top with a black lingerie trim, white hotpants and gloves. Blonde hair tied in a braid. Lily Collins wears a red corset, matching knickers and gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. 

Round 1: 
Emily swings around the brunette's temples early and grazes her cheeks trying to establish some authority but the fellow actress leans on the front leg and rips into her body showing she's not afraid to mix it with the best. She thumps well into the blonde's breadbasket and forces the ex-champ to become more aggressive but the high approach lacks precision and Lily reels Emily back as the round goes on; she makes the blonde groan after one landing one piercing jab too many and does her best to trap her against the ropes only for Atack to clinch her and shove into her corner herself in the dying seconds of the round. 

Round 2: 
More high swings from Atack that bring her no success and result in Lily stepping up with more midsection assault that bends the blonde forward into a crunching uppercut on the jaw. Emily squeals in pain and finally answers back on the body but now Collins whips some facial leather and snaps the blonde braid around in circles. Emily begins to feel the close range heat and wants to back out of it yet Lily catches her cold with a hook on the nose and shoves onto the ropes with more repeated striking. The ex-champ remains very rusty on display and has to seek another clinch to survive a woeful round as the brunette gains more confidence is seeing her highly touted opponent so bleak tonight. 

Round 3: 
Emily finally lands some heavy leather and for once slices Collins' mitts aside before thumping her on the jaw and staggering in the middle of the ring. She works the facial assault thereafter and forces the brunette into desperate avoidance but the fast tempo escape at least enables Lily to gather her thoughts before mounting a late charge at the blonde again. Atack tries to pummel her way through on the face after a failed attempt to dwarf the brunette's footwork however even Lily lacks the precision come the final minute and both girls decide to give it another go at each other only after the interval. 

Round 4: 
Lily tries to pounce on the ex-champ but despite ripping into her body she fails to break her resilience and endures a quick switch on the mouth as Emily works the high drill and begins to groan in her efforts to dominate the brunette. Both girls clash heads after a hectic tangle and Atack recovers first and snaps the dark ponytail with a flurry of jabs on the face that leave Lily's cheeks bruised. She whips repeated overhands afterwards and has Collins on the run but the dancing experience gives the brunette the edge and she strays from a clubbing menace to wear the blonde out in pursuit. Another late clinch concludes the round and Denise van Outen believes that Collins has showed more resistance than anticipated already and might well pull another upset after all if Emily struggles to enforce her physical advantage. 

Round 5: 
Atack tries to make it physical but Collins is simply too fast across the canvas for her and avoids the early onslaught before looping overhand counter and smacking the blonde's guard aside. Emily keeps coming forward though and looks to answer right back but is dumped on her heels when Collins rips a right cross on the nose and adds a left hand on the lips to really expose the former champ in the middle of the ring. Blonde actress sways on her feet back & forth under a flurry of punches and has to yield real estate as Lily increases her jabbing efforts and lands more crisp shots on the face for remainder of the round almost certainly pulling ahead on the cards at half-distance. 

Round 6: 
Lily unloads more punches to the face and staggers the blonde in the middle of the ring before whooping her on the guts that just leans Emily on her heels with a loud yelping struggle and triggers more punishing jabs from the underdog brunette. Collins' fully in her stride here as she works the blonde's ribs to push her back and almost headbutts her again as they wrestle for supremacy briefly; Atack swings wide and eats an uppercut to finally give up the spot and Lily bumps into the cleavage to keep her pinned on the ropes. What a terrible piece of boxing from the ex-champion who allows the brunette to bully her around and punch back to the turnbuckle in the final minute where she gut checks the blonde at will and at the bell Emily looks like she's had enough of this already! 

Round 7: 
Denise van Outen simply doesn't understand what's happened with Emily who's highly touted comeback goes from bad to worse when Lily rips into her cheeks and pounds back on the heels within seconds of the bell; the blonde bellows out behind an earmuff cover and sends weak single shots from then back foot that barely graze the brunette's flesh whereas Collins turns on the heat and jabs vividly from both sides on the ribcage to bury the ex-champ on jelly knees come the final minute. Emily begins to wince in pain really worryingly now as she has nothing to offer it seems and simply leans over the ropes hoping for the fellow actress to gas out but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as some dancer endurance comes to the fore and has Lily blasting a vicious jabbing frenzy right at the death to dismantle the blonde's guard and rock her head side to side before the ref rescues Atack from a complete disaster. 

Round 8: 
Blonde girl is almost out of breath completely and Lily charges at her with more jabbing frenzy, she slices the guard apart once again and thumps the head into more rocking misery before switching on the breasts and just adding onto Emily's yelping volume; the ex-champ looks terribly out of shape on her comeback and some questions will be asked over her preparations as Collins finally relieves her from the bruising duty as she whips a couple of jabs on the solar plexus and finds one last uppercut on the nose TO SEND THE BLONDE CRASHING DOWN FLAT ON HER BACK... Emily remains unresponsive to the count and barely twitches her arms as Lily bunny hops in the neutral corner waiting for the ineviteable outcome... KO8 Lily Collins!!! 

AFTER: Another upset victory for the slender brunette? Denise van Outen begins to think Lily's found herself in very favorable circumstances as first Kayleigh Perarson looked really sluggish back in January and now Emily Atack never had the strenght in her to last more than five rounds and was badly out of match fitness which is a criminal charge against a former flyweight champion. Will Lily continue to pick girls who spend several months on the sidelines as her rivals? She hasn't put a foot wrong in two fights she's had this year and perhaps that's the way to go if you want to get rid of the jobber remarks? No more underdog status? That's too early to call since Emily was never at the races tonight and barely scratched the brunette who at least sports one of the biggest smiles ever seen in BBU as she leaves the Cardiff Arena! Who cares how inept the opposition was when you still put the big 'W' next to your name?
