BEFORE: Rhiannon Fish has stopped Kara Tointon very impressively back in January and now returns to action against a dangerous - and unbeaten in four attempts - Marti's Maulers floater Shona McGarty who's bantamweight listed but remains chiefly based at 110 lbs. Fish still targets the Mulheron sisters as main rivals in her BBU presence and would really like to smoke old Down Under nemesis Samara Weaving really soon but to shake off the six month ring rust she's offered a challenge to McGarty which raised quite a few eyebrows around North London. 

However the pretty brunette says she's ready for big time and strays from picking out random hookers to boost her record, "If someone like Jenna Louise Coleman can reign the division, I can get out there and show my worth too! I'm not as popular as Geri Halliwell or Cheryl Cole so I need to put down the toughest opposition possible in order to get my share of exposure. And a lot of people talk good things about McGarty so I'm ready to take her down tonight!" 

Rhiannon Fish wears a pink & blue themed bikini and black gloves. Shona McGarty wears a neon green bikini set and white gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. 

Round 1: 

McGarty's raw punching power has left many fans and experts surprised and the English brunette lays it to Fish from the start topping the agile presence of her opponent and rocking the Aussie head early. Rhiannon hoped to waste much of Shona's energy early but she gets jumped with a jabbing galore in the opening minute and has to retreat in numbers which still leaves Shona well aware of her core strenght advantage and allows Fish to make her moves down the stretch. The Aussie actress tries to hassle her foe around the ring but struggles for a solid punch and eats a late flurry on the face instead as Shona lets her know who's the boss and rocks Rhiannon's head with a measured overhand combo that makes Fish forget about all her agility and wobbles her onto the ropes where the bell saves her from more trouble. 

Round 2: 

Rhiannon whacks the fellow brunette around the elbows and settles into a close range exchange but as she wobbles Shona on the heels, a riffle of a punch from behind the guard smacks the Aussie on the nose and neglects all her aggressive plans on the spot. McGarty quickly regains her balance and moves onto the front leg bashing fearless leather between Rhiannon's mitts and whips her on the heels herself as that high 109 lbs presence begins to tell and rocks Fish into defensive circles fast very much against the crowd's choice. Shona's not the fastest across the boards but still maintains the striking zone and buries a somewhat spooked opponent under a proper barrage and backs her into the ropes late where she fends off a desperate hooking effort and slams a couple of jabs on the ribcage to make the former 'Home & Away' starlet gasp for air at the bell. 

Round 3: 

Rhiannon just can't go punch for punch against McGarty here as she loses another early tangle and is whipped onto her heels forcing a quick earmuff cover. Shona keeps stalking her though and now reverts onto the midsection full-time looping measured jabs to slow Fish down before moving upstairs in the second minute. Rhiannon's guard withstands the initial efforts but the lack of production just dumps her into more trouble as McGarty lays it into the body to lower the mitts and spike a quick series on the cheeks that wobbles Rhiannon onto the ropes with a loud gasp. A subsequent clinch saves the Aussie brunette from more misery but it's only a temporary solution as Shona wrestles her back against the turnbuckle and keeps pounding away at the ribcage leaving visible marks on the otherwise taned flesh. Rhiannon scowls out in her efforts to break free but is trapped in the corner for remainder of the round and Lioness coach looks as puzzled as everyone in the stands after another difficult round on display. 

Round 4: 

It only goes from bad to worse for the Aussie actress as Shona increases her movements for the first time tonight and doesn't wait as long as before to smack Rhiannon's face with powerful jabs that simply shatter the guard and send the head bobbing around amid aching spasms. Fish has no chance to stay in the close range dust up but McGarty - almost mercifully - relieves her from that duty as she bombs her back to the ropes and flies in with a vicious hook on the left eye that tears some skin and renders Fish scowling in more pain. A quick hook on the boobs sags the local favorite cold gasping for breath and a left handed put away was as ineviteable as any punch landed so far tonight... FISH GOES DOWN ON HER SIDE unable to embrace the power display from the English brunette... Shona remains strictly business and shows no signs of emotions as she struts back to her corner... Meanwhile the fallen Aussie looks much worse to wear and looks over at her corner telling her what to do here... she's up at seven but avoid immediate assault and just invites McGarty into another mauling frenzy.. Shona storms back at her and sets her targets upstairs to dissect the guard alltogether and just rock the struggling brunette senseless before driving one down on the navel and just shoving the girl into the corner where more punches crash into Rhiannon's face and leave her squealling in pain with eyes closed at the bell. 

Round 5: 

Whatever plans Rhiannon had after this one, they must be reconsidered as she's taking a heavy beating here with Shona slowing back down but still having the other girl at her mercy. She methodically works on the wounded eye and quickly increases the swelling to make Fish feel really impaired and unable to cover up her left side so effectively - if at all. Rhiannon goes all turtle in the second minute but McGarty still has a field day around her elbows and harpoons her back to the ropes down the stretch where she riffles more uppercuts to tarnish the desperate defense and find some connection on the jaw. Rhiannon is dumped into loud spasms come the bell and in fact if McGarty wanted to knock her out, she'd have done that some time ago already according to Denise van Outen! The bell saves some Lioness Club pride but the result seems ineviteable with Rhiannon's busted up face telling that story very clear. 

Round 6: 

The Aussie brunette can't see much through her left eye now but refuses to quit on stool however she's caught with immediate facial onslaught as McGarty easily tracks her down and dissects the high guard at will... she rocks Rhiannon in the middle of the ring with vicious jabbing and makes the girl drop her arms within seconds to resume the wounded eye punishment... Fish just wobbles forward and assumes the punchbag attire so Shona riffles a mercy shot on the jaw knocking the girl out on the spot... Rhiannon slides down on her knees before collapsing to the side and she's not getting up anytime soon... KO6 Shona McGarty!!! 

AFTER: That was the worst start to the Bantamweight Title Card the whole of Barnet could have possible imagined and that's regardless of McGarty's unbeaten record. The English brunette simply wrecked the highly touted Aussie opponent winning all five rounds before the KO finish left the crowd speechless but not exactly surprised anymore. Just how good is the Maulers' operator then? At this rate she can well and truly earn herself a shot at the divisional title before the year is over! 

On the other hand the Mulheron stalking looks a bit premature for Rhiannon given her pillar-to-post beating tonight. Even though Ashley Mulheron suffered an equally terrible defeat to Maria Ozawa lately, she's never lost against a non-Japanese opponent before and with sister Tiffany's help she should have more than enough in her to work Rhiannon over according to Denise van Outen. But then again, if you challenge Shona McGarty can you pull out of all the stalking on social media just like that? It seems like the Samara Weaving pounce is the only thing that can save the brunette's integrity right now. Watch this space!
