BEFORE: Pilar Rubio's job in on the line tonight as the Lioness Club executives are tired of her lacklustre results and quite frankly the Spanish brunette has never looked like repeating the third round knockout of Natalie Bassingthwaighte that promised so much back in 2011. Sara Kavanagh blasted out Billie Faiers on the PageThrees Beach Boxing PPV earlier this month and has stalked Dorota Rabczewska into a fight but she'll have to deal with Rubio first to convince the Barnet based stable that she's good enough to even have a shot against someone rated so highly like the Polish singer. 

Pilar Rubio wears a black bikini set and red gloves. Dark brown hair straight. Sara Kavanagh wears a red & white striped bikini set and black gloves. Blonde hair in loose cascades. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. 

Round 1: 

Pilar knows she's up against it and looks to dominate the Irish blonde early but as she pursuits a hooking combo she gets immediately whacked on the chest with Sara looking to maintain her winning ways following that Faiers KO. She outworks the older woman in the middle of the ring and sticks her mitts into Pilar's breadbasket wobbling the Spanish girl and then rocking her with a heavy uppercut on the jaw. Rubio sways back on her heels and fails to lock the guard so Kavanagh rips into her face thereafter and pounds her to the ropes where she sends a flurry of punches on the head and traps a struggling opponent for good. Pilar tries to fight back from behind the guard but Sara piledrives her solar plexus and dumps into a moaning disarray before riffling a series upstairs to rock the brunette's head even more and leave her sagging at the bell already. 

Round 2: 

Kavanagh just piles on the pressure against the visibly slower moving rival and rips into the midriff to root Pilar to the spot. The Spanish girl really struggles to live with the pace of the fight and even as she covers up in earmuff, Sara blasts the guard aside and sticks more leather against the cheeks leaving Rubio in nasty lumps by the second minute. Pilar's response is weak and predictable; she loops sluggish overhands on the face that make no impression on the blonde and down the stretch Kavanagh resumes the facial assault herself thumping the older woman back to the ropes where a quick switch on the midsection proves too much for Pilar again. She bends forward with her eyes closed and tries to clinch the Irish model but eats more piercing jabs on the navel & chest and gasps for air as Sara keeps routing her all the way until the bell and looks like the second coming of Doda more than anything else! 

Round 3: 

Pilar looks like she's had enough of this already and tries to dance her way out of the blonde's striking range however Sara's much quicker on her feet and easily traps the brunette with more midriff jabbing that staggers Rubio along the ropes and opens up a hole upstairs. Pilar wobbles into an uppercut frenzy and screams out in pain after several consecutive punches crash into her face.... Sara goes absolutely nuts in the facial punishment and rocks the Spanish woman woozy into the second minute and Rubio just can't take it anymore after another vicious hook nails her on the temple... DOWN GOES PILAR... she collapses onto her side in the corner and struggles to catch some air as Sara struts across the ring and dwells on some half-hearted support... Pilar's up on her knees at six but needs to grab the ropes in order to stand up... she leans herself against the ropes and remains stuck in the corner as Sara comes crashing down on her like a vulture and riffles a left/right combo on the lips that meets no resistance and punches the mouthguard flying out in the stands... RUBIO GOES ALL TIMBER again and tumbles face-first on the boards but this time she's down and out for keeps. KO3 Sara Kavanagh!!! 

AFTER: That's the last the Lioness Club fans have seen of it's Spanish fighter as poor Pilar doesn't even get to know she's fired from the Barnet stable until she opens her eyes back at the hospital because she has to be stretched off the ring first, being knocked out cold by the Irish blonde. Sara adds more pressure on the lionesses as she joins Shona McGarty in winning the guest appearance and well, her clash with Doda might become unavoidable now however she must be warned that the Polish singer has more skill & strenght in her than both Billie Faiers and Pilar Rubio combined. But she doesn't mind that at all and looks to further improve both her and the PageThrees stock upon the otherwise unheralded BBU return that only now seems to be taken seriously by the experts and fellow fighters alike.
