BEFORE: Alex Curran hoped to enter the divisional title picture during the summer but since her intended targets Gemma Atkinson and Karen Gillan made a name for themselves over in America at the Welterweight Revival tournament, the Merseyside model had to postpone her plans and only now returns to BBU action against the former Beever's Babes actress Tamsin Egerton who was released from her duties back in February after struggling to book a fight for well over a year. 

Many BBU pundits, Denise van Outen included, think that Egerton is too good to remain a free agent but it was tough to withstand the competition from Jourdan Dunn who recently became the Beevers' money girl in the 130+ lbs division. However a win over an experienced veteran like Curran can truly resurrect Egerton's career and make Andrea McLean and Taryn Terrell regret cutting her loose four months ago. 

Alex Curran wears a sizzling red bikini set and black gloves. Tamsin Egerton wears a navy blue bikini set and silver gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division. 

Round 1: 

Tamsin's been absent from the ring for a while but shows mean intentions quickly and whacks the model on the body to assume early control. Alex settles in the brawling duel but struggles to tame her opponent's barrage and wobbles dangerously after more piercing jabs crash into her ribs. She swings back over the top but misses Tamsin's head and is rooted to the spot by a shockingly brutal hook on the liver area. Egerton fires an uppercut combo to split the model's mitts and sends her backing into the ropes afterwards with another set of jabs digging into her midsection. Alex seeks an early clinch to survive the fast tempo start from the fellow blonde but is ripped across the breadbasket and Egerton leans her head against Curran's cheek to pound away at her belly for remainder of the round leaving the entire KO Club audience stunned at the bell. 

Round 2: 

That was as impressive start as Tamsin could have hoped for and she looks to resume the body punishment jumping into another jabbing frenzy right off the bat. Alex has to show some quick feet to avoid a looming disaster and finally lands some response over the top to slow Egerton down and keep her at bay in mid distance. Tamsin settles into some quick circles but looks ready to jump in with more menace soon; Alex bides her time and sends single hands upstairs but make little proggress and has to counterattack the ineviteable charge as Tamsin rips into the model's breasts and finds an uppercut to slice the guard alltogether. Tamsin pounds Alex back to the ropes with more uppercuts to the rack and has the model scowling in discomfort when she resumes piercing her ribcage and just traps her butt-in-ropes for remainder of the round to add more misery for the Barnet fans at the bell. 

Round 3: 

It seems like Egerton was never away as she fakes a high approach and whacks Curran on the body again to dump her into a squealling disarray early in the third. Alex keeps working the high drill but skims off the blonde's forehead and sinks on her heels after another jabbing series bounces off her ribcage. Tamsin sends a quick uppercut flurry to dismantle the earmuff and clips the jugs so effectively that Alex can't stop moaning in pain while missing her response badly. Egerton dekes out and crashes more looping jabs herself; she keeps punishing the body and backs a hapless looking Merseyside girl back to the ropes in the final minute where she opens up from both sides and wrenches Alex's face to shut her eyes in the dying seconds and thump one last hook right on the ear. Curran slumps on her knees and looks overwhelmed by the experience while the Lioness entourage begins to wonder when will this Egerton juggernaut stop? 

Round 4: 

Alex finally beats her rival for a clubbing punch on the nose and snaps Tamsin's head with a quick follow up on the chin. However the actress remains supreme in the footwork department and avoids a close range heat, letting the blonde model wear herself out a bit in a frantic but fruitless pursuit. Alex keeps swinging up high but Tamsin's agility for a welterweight is truly sublime as she ducks underneath the high stakes and rips into Curran's midriff instead, sinking the tall her on soft knees almost immediately... furious ribcage pounding sends Alex back to the ropes down the stretch and only another desperate clinch prevents Tamsin from running away with another round as the early Merseyside attack is reversed in a hurry whenever Egerton can stick it into Curran's body. 

Round 5: 

Alex is really slow on her feet compared to the other blonde and Tamsin reels her into defensive circles with another high tempo drive that has the Merseyside model gasping for air and tiring out even more... Egerton has the patience to mount a late attack and dominates the action once again as Alex becomes visibly upset over a number of missed punches that just cut thin air and make the Beevers drop out smile back at her in sympathetic manner... this only fuels Curran's anger but she just cannot make Tamsin pay in mid range and endures a late rally across the cheeks instead as Egerton jumps in with a jabbing series and dismantles the model's gaurd at will adding a couple of lumps on her face just as the clock expires. 

Round 6: 

Curran leaps into all or nothing-like charge but after bouncing off Tamsin's guard she is poled off her feet with a clubbing uppercut on the rack that pulls the plug on her aggressive ideas and allows the actress to riffle a brutal series straight up the alley and snaps the model's head into back & forth vertigo. Alex sinks on her knees and trips back towards the ropes as Egerton settles into a facial barrage to leave her foe screaming out in visible pain before too long. Tamsin just doesn't let go here and dissects the model's guard for good on the two minute mark and digs her gloves right into that pretty Liverpool face to simply wrench the girl sideways and wobbling forward into a put away uppercut on the jaw... Egerton really lets that one go and shuts off Curran's power supply on the spot... DOWN GOES THE MODEL... Alex hits the canvas flat on her face and bellows out into immediate spasms as Tamsin reigns supreme on her comeback... KO6 Tamsin Egerton in ultra shocking fashion!!! 

AFTER: That finish left the entire Barnet audience speechless and absolutely stunned. Even Shona McGarty's punch out of Rhiannon Fish wasn't as upsetting as this! So why was Tamsin fired from the Beevers exactly? Sure, Jordan Dunn is labelled as the Iron Lady of BBU already and perhaps the best UK prospect since Sabrina Washington's heyday but Tamsin proved tonight she can hold her own too. At 27 she's by no means over the hill too and Denise van Outen can only wonder if she stalks her former employer now? She's surprisingly relaxed over the top notch knockout and prefers to just smile to the cameras rather than add some extra punishment for the fallen Liverpool model. 

This defeat definitely ices out Alex's title prospects and it only takes her best part of three minutes before she can stand up and salute the otherwise faithful crowd. After all, she remains Lioness Club's best shot at 130+ but with her husband destined to play MLS soccer within days now, the Barnet fans can only guess when will they see the shapely model in action again. However Sophie Howard wants to have a shot at Tamsin next to boost her own status within the team and she won't take "no" for an answer even despite Egerton taking her more successful stablemate to the cleaners tonight.
