Kate Upton vs Brooke Hogan

Before: "I really am!" Brooke responds when asked if she's looking forward to the fight. "Kate is really overrated. She's a stick and she's so full of herself. I'm superior in every possible way, and I'm going to prove it when I lay her out live on HBO." 

Completely unphased, Kate Upton responds, "Brooke is right. She is better - at least inasmuch as she's better at looking like a tranvestite who wears too much makeup." This comment gets some laughs from the crowd - though not from Brooke whose cheeks are bright red, eyes filled with fury. "No but look - I took this fight because I feel bad for her. She's coming back after a two year hiatus, and for her own good I don't want her getting any funny ideas about making something of herself here. Y'know, don't want her to get her hopes up, so I'll do her the favor of crushing her dreams before they get too big. Almost like shooting a sick dog before its condition gets even worse. I just wish someone had done that for her music career, am I right?" 

This comment causes Brooke to charge at Kate, starting a shoving match between the two ladies. It isn't long before the spat is broken up, but things are at a fiery start for sure. 

The night of the fight, Brooke enters the ring with a blue bikini, her long blonde hair flowing about her shoulders. Her boots and gloves are white and she's hopping up and down to stay loose. Kate enters next with bikini in orange and white, green gloves and boots. Her hair is in one braid and she's looking cool and confident. 

Round 1: Both fighters start off energetic - there's only an inch in difference of height between the two and they're already firing long jabs at each other. Kate almost looks like this is another day at the office, while Brooke looks eager - still smiling even as the fight has begun. Kate looks like she has a little edge in speed as she's able to put a glove up before Brooke's punches can connect. Brooke is able to anticipate Upton's counters however, and as a result neither is gaining an upperhand as the first minute of the round ticks by. Kate manages to land a couple of shots to Hogan's face, rocking her head back a little. Catching on quickly, Brooke is able to sway back to avoid a blow, then come forward with one of her own which catches Upton off guard as leather smacks her clean in the cheek. Brooke follows it up with a few more, but Kate is backing up, throwing a few lefts to keep her opponent at bay. 

Brooke manages to work on Kate's body, but she's only able to get a few hits in before Kate responds with her own right to the side of Brooke's head. The rest of the round continues like this - by the time the bell rings it's Brooke's on points but only by a little. 

Round 2: Here they go - Kate is coming in quick. It's clear she's already tired of the tactical nature we saw in the first round, and she's giving it to Brooke hard, tossing her opponent's head with hard lefts and rights, peppering her face raw with a continuous series of blows. Brooke is backing up now, keeping her gloves up and managing to fend off some of the hits, but Upton is showing her abilities as she is able to consistently slip past Hogan's defenses. 

Brooke is now using her feet a little more, putting her fitness to good use. She's still taking some shots, but she's putting herself in a better position to defend herself and not let Kate be able to dictate all the action. Upton is still determined - she's following Brooke all around the ring, now aiming more for Hogan's body to try and ebb her stamina. 

Brooke is taking some hits, and is being outclassed by her supermodel opponent. Kate is relentless in her attack. Hogan decides she needs to act, even if it means leaving herself open. Despite Upton inflicting more damage to Brooke's face, Hogan manages to connect a few stiff blows. They're strong, and Kate's attack slows down as Brooke pounds her. Relishing in a break from punishment, Hogan proceeds to land a few more hits, but the bell ends the round before she can really get anything going. It's Kate's round, but it could've been a lot worse for Brooke had she not rallied at the end. 

Round 3: It appears Brooke's little rally did nothing to cause uncertainty in Kate. She's coming out, still a look of supreme confidence on her beautiful face. Brooke meets her without delay, and Kate ducks a wild left from Hogan. Upton believes Brooke is getting impatient and wants to use that to her advantage, so she continues peppering her opponent and using her greater experience to keep Hogan guessing and chasing. Brooke is going after her, but she's taking shots doing it. It's almost as though she doesn't realize this will catch up with her as the fight goes on. She makes the mistake of firing off another wild shot, this time with her right. Kate slips it easily and comes back with an uppercut. Brooke's head snaps back, blonde hair flying, a loud grunt escaping her lips. Upton connects a right then a left, and Brooke is retreating from the surgical strikes. 

Brimming with confidence, Kate advances, seeking to punish Brooke even further. She's stopped cold however from a straight shot from Brooke's right directly to her mouth. Kate cries out as she receives another blow, a mighty left which crashes directly into the model's temple. She wobbles, her eyes glazed over as her hands drop. Brooke delivers an overhand right to her cheek which sends Kate tumbling on her back. She sits up, her left hand on her face, the count already at 2. She shakes her head to clear the haze, and she manages to get back on her feet by 8. Brooke begins to advance on her but the bell rings. Hogan managed to take the round with a final rally. 

Round 4: It's the fourth, and Brooke is out of her corner on a direct line to her opponenet. A look of concern flashes across Upton's face as she observes the new gusto and purpose her opponent is showing. Kate meets her head on, and the two begin exchanging blows. For a few moments it's looking pretty even, both fighters are standing their ground and giving it all they've got. Hogan manages to knock Kate back with a punch that connects with her chest. Kate is against the ropes now, Brooke is advancing and throwing down blows - trying to exert total dominace. Upton is taking it, her hands are up and she's hemmed in - but she knows she can't afford to go down again and she steels herself against the pain. 

Brooke is trying to plant a power blow, though in her eagerness she throws a strong hook which Kate is able to not only duck under, but to get all the way under Brooke's arm and out from against the ropes. Hogan wheels around quickly, and Kate is already backing away. She just wants to make it to the end of the round so she can regroup. Brooke pursues her, but the round ends before she can regain her momentum. 

Round 5: After a brief pep talk in her corner, Kate looks ready to continue. She's taking the fight much more seriously now, and she intends to show her opponent that she will not be brow beaten and bullied. I am Kate Upton, she thinks to herself, and you are nothing. 

Brooke on the other hand looks hungry - her confidence has risen in direct correlation to her aggression, and she looks to put Kate down quickly to show her physical strength and dominance. I will not be defeated by some model, Brooke thinks as she approaches her opponent, I am stronger than she'll ever be. 

The opening salvo of round five is a blur. Blonde hair is flying all over the place as the two women trade blows dead center in the ring. To the stomach, sides, arms, head, face, chest... both women were giving and taking in all areas. After one full minute of pure chaos, Kate begins to back up and look for some space. Brooke advances, but seems happy to take the breather Upton is willing to give. Both women's ample bosoms are heaving up and down as they try and catch their breath. 

A few moments pass as Brooke lazily chases down Kate. Upton then takes a step forward and fires a left jab at Brooke, who manages to put a glove up in time to block it. Hogan responds with a quick four punch combination, nailing Kate successively as if she had forgotten she had two hands to defend herself with. The bell rings - the only thing separating the two was the final blows Brooke delivered and so Hogan wins a virtually even round. 

Round 6: Despite technically losing the previous round, Kate is in good spirits. There is a sparkle in her eye - she now knows she has taken Brooke's best shots and is still ready to continue. She isn't surprised by this revelation, but it is enough to give her a second wind. 

The two approach as the round begins - neither seem particularly out of steam despite the intensity of the bout so far. It isn't long before they're trading blows again - Brooke trying to deliver strong combinations while Kate waits patiently and picks her spots to counter while having some success anticipating Brooke's movements. The two are moving about the ring - two blondes with similar heights but two completely different fighting styles. 

The third minute begins, and Kate seems more and more able to guess Brooke's next move. Her combinations are less and less successful as the model is able to block and sway away from potential blows more and more frequently. At the same time, Kate is still landing a fair number of jabs - none of them are doing a monumental amount of damage, but it is clear they are having a cumulative effect. The round ends with the model having an edge, and Kate goes back to her corner, her right eyebrow slightly raised as though she has quietly seen a flaw in an opposing chess player's strategy. 

Round 7: Brooke bursts from her corner, Kate is looking calm again; she's moving a little slower, almost lackadaisically as she waits for Hogan to inevitable come closer. Brooke fires off a couple jabs, then a quick right. Kate sighs softly as her face is struck with the first punch, but she's able to deflect the next jabs and sway back from the right. She comes back with her own right which blasts Brooke in the cheek. Kate fires off a few more of her own jabs, nailing her opponent several times about her mouth and nose. Shaking her head, Hogan fires off a quick combination, but Upton is ready for it as she's able to insure not a single blow lands. She then responds with a strong left hook, which connects nicely to Brooke's jaw, knocking her back a few steps. 

Kate is advancing now, she ducks another right from Hogan, then comes back with a uppercut that causes Brooke to shriek. Upton firing away, working the body, always keeping an eye on potential counters. Hogan manages to land a couple shots, but Kate is in the zone as she chases her oppponent across the ring, landing blow after blow to her hapless victim who can't seem to grasp what is happening. After a few moments the bell rings, mercifully for Brooke, but Kate comes out the clear victor of round seven. 

Round 8: OK Brooke, Hogan thinks to herself, she had your number last round. Now's the time to show her what you're made of. The bell dings and they are both at it again - it's a slug fest now - Brooke believes the last round was a fluke and that her sheer strength will win the day. Kate now thinks it is just a matter of time before she puts this predictable upstart down. 

They're trading shots again - whatever edge Upton had gained on her opponent the round before seems to have gone by the wayside as the two beat each other into oblivion. Brooke manages to clip Kate with a hard left to her chin causes her to stumble in the third minute. Brooke smiles and throws a right hook to put the model down for good. To Hogan's amazement, the seemingly dazed Kate actually ducks under the blow, then blasts Brooke square in the temple with her own right. Brooke cries out from surprise and pain as she whirls around and falls on her face. 

Kate walks back to her corner to let the ref do his work. Brooke is struggling to rise, but rise she does by the count of nine. She's shaking her head a little, clearly not recovered from the blow. Kate comes in fast and manages to knock Brooke around a little more before the round ends. 

Round 9: The round begins with Brooke delivering a crushing blow to Upton - sending the model against the ropes. Kate stays on her feet though, and she girds herself against another bruising Hogan onslaught. Upton seems to have lost the rythem of Brooke's combinations that she had found earlier, and she's taking it on to chin. Hogan is fighting on pure adrenaline and pride, but it's not enough as Kate slips a strong left passed all defenses and busts Brooke in the eye. 

Again stunned - another attack broken up by a smart counter from Upton - Hogan falls back a step as it's Kate who is now piling on punches to her beleagured opponent. It isn't a huge punch that sends Brooke down again but another jab to her nose. She falls on her butt, that look of confusion on her face as if she had just woken up and expected to be somewhere else. 

Wobbling, Brooke stands up - the ref must have been mere nanoseconds away from counting ten. Hogan's hands are up, but Kate can tell she's finished. The model advances and begins raining down all the punches she can muster, knowing full well defense will no longer be required. Brooke is taking all of it - she falls against the ropes as her head is popped left and right over and over again. She's out on her feet and the ref steps in and calls the match. Kate Upton wins it, TKO9!! 

After: Kate throws her right hand up in victory as she turns around to go back to her corner. Behind her she hears a thud and looks to find that Brooke has fallen to her side. Smiling, Kate walks back to her and nudges her onto her back with her foot. Hogan is clearly too dazed to do anything about it, she just moans softly as Upton places her right foot on her chest. 

"Go ahead, take a few pictures," Kate says, posing over her conquered opponent. "Did anyone really expect a different result here? This girl is nothing. You understand? She inherited a little fame because of who her father is. Me?" Kate gestures to her own body, "I'm a natural beauty who makes her own way. Don't ever bet against me when I'm fighting trash like this." She looks down at Brooke and laughs to herself as the defeated blonde's eyes flutter a little. Kate then puts her full weight on her right foot, depressing it further into Brooke's chest, and proceeds to walk over her to exit the ring. 

A bruising match finished with both fighters taking their lumps. Kate went down in the third but at the end of the day she outboxed and outsmarted her opponent.
