BEFORE:

"Back to Asylum, and I haven't exactly covered myself with glory here," says Eva, shaking her head. "But, this isn't a girl who's too big for me, like Ruah was. This girl is just my size and tonight I'll beat her to get my first FCBA win."

"I'm not falling into all this stuff about her," says a hard-eyed Leven. "I've watched the video. She can fight. And I know where I stand around here. I need this win, and I'm going to get it."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and the song you're hearing is 'You Know My Name' by Chris Cornell, which happens to be the theme song from 'Casino Royale', and here comes the Bond Girl herself, French beauty Eva Green!"

McCarthy: "The last time she came here, she was wearing a mask, and, with her record, she ought to wear one anytime she comes near an FCBA event!"

Tess: "Now, Mac, she's only HAD two fights..."

McCarthy: "And she lost them both! Typical Dancing Hooker opponent. No FCBA wins!"

Cassie: "Why weren't YOU ever a Bond Girl, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Nice try, Scabbo! You aren't getting me all fired up so HBO has to start showing some horrible movie like 'Ishtar II'..."

Cassie: "All I'm saying is, since you've been in the business since the franchise started, you'd think you'd have gotten a phone call..."

McCarthy: "Well, I...HEY...THAT SERIES STARTED IN 1962, YOU LITTLE...I WAS NEGATIVE TEN YEARS OLD!"

Tess: "THIS she uses her tablet to look up..."

McCarthy: "ONE MORE WORD OUT OF YOU, SCABBO, AND I'LL STUFF YOU IN A GARBAGE CAN LIKE GLADYS KNIGHT DID THAT SECURITY GUARD IN PUERTO RICO! AND SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell(sighing): "Ok, boys, drink up, if you have 'Mac mixes up a college basketball coach and an iconic singer, mark your square, and then check out the body on Ms. Green as she's helped off with the robe to reveal a red number that shows off a figure that could do some JMD. And, that's 'Stray Heart' by Green Day you hear, and here comes the star of that video, 'The Houston Solution', Leven Rambin..."

McCarthy: "She's about to be part of the solution to Pennsylvania's tight labor market, because, if she doesn't win tonight, she's going to be in the unemployment line tomorrow..."

Tess: "Mac may be exaggerating a bit, but Leven's had her struggles of late, and she does need to get on track..."

Cassie: "She has the tools. She's tall, athletic, hits above the weight. No reason she can't succeed, but, you're right, Tess, she's stagnated in her development..."

O'Dell: "Rambin into the ring. Helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and it's time for some picks. Tess likes Leven. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I think Rambin's going to be a typical Front Street washout. I think Green upsets her and she's gone tomorrow."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Rambin quickly looking to establish the left jab. The blonde has a bit of height and reach in this one, which is normal for her, as she's a tall bantam. Green has the gloves high, picking off the jab, getting off in counter and scoring pretty well in doing so..."

Cassie: "Green getting some power on those counters, Jenny. She's timing good right hands. Hasn't hurt Leven, but she's getting her attention."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Rambin getting thrown onto the defensive and Green quickly taking over boxing lead. The brunette has the geometry down and quickly and she's getting leather home."

McCarthy: "And now Rambin firing back in counter. Give the kid credit for making a quick adjustment. Front Street fighters usually can't do that, because they're poorly trained..."

O'Dell: "Rambin lands a solid counter right hand, but it's Green who's slowly taken control of the round. She's using a solid left hand to set up rights, getting punches put together, forcing Rambin to pick spots to respond. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. First round to Green."

Tess: "And not only the early 10-9 lead, but maybe a confidence booster for Eva."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second and Rambin back to the left hand, sticking out that long jab. The blonde finding the range with it now, catching Eva and setting her up for right hands..."

Tess: "And, that quickly, it's Green on the defensive..."

O'Dell: "Indeed, it is. Leven's forced her to go over and it's all down to that left jab. Rambin's getting it on target, and that's setting everything else up. Green firing back in spots, still scoring on the counter, but she's not getting off as often or as heavily as she did in the first round..."

Cassie: "Rambin so long for this weight. If she can get leather home at range, she can make things miserable for her opponent."

O'Dell: "Not quite doing that with Green, though. Eva in the round off that solid counter, but Leven's blunted the brunette's momentum and rolled back her early offensive gains. Even forcing her to give a little ground in spots. Rambin on a roll as the second round comes to an end. There's the bell. And we're all even, Mac..."

McCarthy: "19 apiece in a fight that's already had plenty of back and forth."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Rambin looking to that left hand again, but Green now thwarting her with a peek-a-boo guard. Eva with both hands up and the chin tucked, wants to step in, then work some body. Green thumping the torso, getting the head down, staying low with the chin tucked..."

McCarthy: "This is good stuff from Green. A nice adjustment."

O'Dell: "And it's causing problems from Rambin, who isn't getting much work done. Leven giving a little ground, trying to get the range she wants, but she's not getting the left home, can't keep Eva out on the end of her punches."

Cassie: "And Green's doing a great job once she gets to where she wants to be. You can get your terms all you want, but you've got to be scoring when you do..."

O'Dell: "And Eva definitely doing that. She's turned the momentum in this thing yet again. Frustrating Rambin a little right now. Leven can't get much going. She's landing here and there, a good shot or two at short range, but she's clearly uncomfortable right now and Green taking advantage to the bell."

Tess: "And Eva back up, 29-28 after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "We're into the fourth and Green back to work, gloves high, chin tucked, working past the blonde's defenses, getting to middle distances and going to work body. Rambin responding, banging back to body herself. Lots of hooks being traded..."

McCarthy: "Rambin responding, yes, but she's being forced to fight Eva's fight."

O'Dell: "No doubt about that. Green's setting the terms now and she's closing the distance even further, getting in tight, right in the blonde's grill, diggng body, and Leven giving that right back. Both fighters going upstairs just to keep the other honest, then right back to tenderizing..."

Cassie: "Green is plenty sturdy at this weight. She's more than willing to work in the trenches and take full advantage of yet another shortening of gunnery range."

O'Dell: "That she is. Leven showing plenty of enthusiasm for this kind of work as well. She's no longer shoving off to get space, just working hard inside. But, this is Eva's game and it's Green who's more effective. We come to the end of the fourth and there's the bell. Eva again."

Tess: "And Green with a bit of a cushion now, 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Back to work and the pattern now set. Rambin no longer even trying to keep Green at range, simply banging her as she works forward, then going to work in the trenches, working flanks, banging ribs, tenderizing tummies. It's back-and-forth stuff, each girl fighting off the other's shoulder."

Tess: "And, as Mac points out, this is Eva's fight, Leven's just competing in it."

O'Dell: "Competing well, though, giving about as good as she's getting at the moment. Hooks flying, the odd uppercut thrown in as both ladies work hard at brutal, grinding, inside stuff..."

Cassie: "Both girls pinking up nicely, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "Definitely some hot tub time in both futures, I suspect. Green a good right hook to the chin there, backs Leven up a step. Rambin bangs back with a hook to the body and a follow up right to the chin. Ten seconds left in the fifth. Neither fighter slowing their work rate. And there's the bell. Close. But Green again..."

McCarthy: "And Rambin now in a hole. 49-46 with five to go."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth underway and Green's again making with the pressure. Rambin getting down into the trenches with her and we're banging away again to body, fighting in close, blonde and brunette digging hard, a war of attrition that's been going on for several rounds now..."

McCarthy: "Eva's just found something that works, and she's going to ride it as far as it will take her..."

O'Dell: "RIGHT UPPERCUT RAMBIN AND EVA STUMBLES BACKWARD AND NEARLY GOES DOWN! Green shaken AND stirred by a scintillating punch from the blonde. Leven all in after the French beauty, banging away with both hands as Green soaks up punishment and tries to hold her ground..."

Cassie: "Leven needs to get to the left hand now. She's got distance, use the left to set up the right."

O'Dell: "Green backed up, driven to the ropes, Rambin winging away looking for the 'off' switch. A little too aggressive right now, as Cassie pointed out, but she's scoring with both hands down the stretch. Green countering in spots but mainly taking right to the bell. Rambin wide..."

Tess: "But Green survives, remains on her feet, and still leads 58-56."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh underway and now Rambin working the left jab. Green looking unsure of the legs at the moment, keeping the guard high and the chin tucked, but not working forward, content to stay outside and counter..."

Cassie: "And, this is the game Leven wants to play. Rambin using the length and that accurate left hand."

O'Dell: "Eva still picking some of those off, but, others getting through and Leven using them to set up right hands and put punches together as well as she has in the fight. Green scoring well in counter, though. She's getting her own right hands home, and some have plenty behind them..."

Tess:: "Have to be impressed by what Green's done tonight. She hasn't had much FCBA experience, couldn't do anything against Ruah or much against Akerman, but, tonight, she's fought well."

O'Dell: "That she has and she's continuing to do so as we head down the stretch in the seventh. The blonde fighting lead, locating with the jab, dropping rights. Green looking for openings for solid counters. Good, two-way stuff to the bell and there it is. Close to Rambin."

McCarthy: "67-66 for Green. Anybody's fight with three to go."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Eighth begins with Green back to pressuring. She's got the legs back under her now and she wants to work inside. Again, Rambin not trying to keep her spacing with the jab, simply looking to score as Eva moves in, then beginning to trade with her in close..."

McCarthy: "Green working a ton of body now, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "And she's working it plenty effectively. Eva with some serious hooks, landing to the midsection and ribs, getting that head low, almost forcing Rambin to go body with excellent positioning and DOWN SHE GOES! DOWN GOES GREEN!"

Cassie: "Right uppercut from Leven!"

O'Dell: "Green stumbles backward and splashes to her back! The blonde to a neutral corner. Referee picks up the count at three. Four. Five. Green still on her back, shaking her head. Six. Seven. Eva rolls to her belly. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! And your winner by KO8, in one-punch fashion, is 'The Houston Solution', Leven Rambin!"

Tess: "Check the replay on this right hand Jenny. Uppercut splits the gloves, catches Green right on the button and it's just a matter of counting to ten from there."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Leven Rambin, and, Leven, you got in a bit of a hole tonight..."

Leven(nodding): "She kind of got me out of my game a bit, forced me to adjust the fight plan. It took some time to make that adjustment and figure out a way to get to her, but, we figured it out and got her out of there."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Leven: "There are some girls I'd like to see again. I'll talk to management, and we'll figure it out."
