BEFORE:

"My last time here," says Rosamund with a shake of the head, "I just got caught, that's all. But, I showed what I can do against Swan here. If I fight like that tonight, and I will, I'll have my first FCBA win!"

"Oh, I've seen how she can fight," says Kesha with a small smile. "Don't let her record fool you. But, this isn't going to be about her record or her boxing skills, it's going to be about her chin, and what happens when Big K drops 'The Hammer'."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Die Another Day' by Madonna you're hearing, and here comes one of the stars of that film and our second Bond Girl of the night, the lovely Rosamund Pike!"

McCarthy: "And, tell us, Jenny, how many FCBA wins does Pike have?"

O'Dell: "None."

McCarthy: "Which, of course, makes her a typical Dancing Hooker opponent! How does Weirdo get AWAY with this? He has to be STOPPED!"

O'Dell(sighing): "Rosamund, of course, representing Foxfire Atlantic, a stable that's no stranger to Asylum. She's into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal an eggshell bikini and a body that makes it clear she's been training hard. And that's 'Tik-Tok' pounding through the arena, and here comes 'Six Feet Of Sexy', Kesha!"

Tess: "Wait for it..."

McCarthy: "Oh, NO. I'm not saying it. If you think you can predict what J-Mac will do or say, you're crazy! I'm 'The Loose Cannon Of The FCBA'! No one EVER knows what I'll say or do! And, SHUT UP, WALMART!"

Cassie: "Drink up, boys!"

O'Dell(sighing): "That's MY line. Kesha into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that navy blue two-piece we've seen before and the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess has picked Kesha. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Even Not-Six-Feet-Nor-Sexy can beat Pike!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, the bell rings to start the first. Both fighters want to establish the long jab, Pike the right, Kesha the left. Big K a bit more aggressive, as we expected. Looking to walk forward, not to close, but to force Pike back..."

McCarthy: "Pike doesn't want to stand in there, but she's retreating in good order. Circling rather than backing..."

O'Dell: "Kesha very sound in the offensive. Clearly familiar with the Pike/Swan fight and how dangerous Rosamund can be. Using the long right very well to set up the left, keeping the distance she wants..."

Cassie: "Pike a slick defensive fighter and a good boxer. And she's lacking power. Doesn't have the kind Kesha does, but she can hurt you, as we've seen before."

O'Dell: "And, Kesha, again, well aware of that. This isn't the Kesha of a couple of years ago, all aggression and offense. She's a much more complete fighter now and you're seeing that. Patient. Working hard. Scoring with the right then dropping in lefts and having the better of things to the bell."

Tess: "Good start for Big K, who has the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins the way the first ended. Kesha fighting a sound, careful lead. Pike working in counter, timing things a bit better now, getting off effectively with both hands. We're getting some good exchanges now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Both fighters warmed up and they've both gotten to feel out the other girl. Both able to open up a bit now..."

O'Dell: "And open up they are. We're seeing good, two-way flurries with both girls getting leather home. Good movement of hand, head, shoulders, feet on box sides, as we settle in to some nice, tactical boxing..."

Cassie: "And, as you pointed out, Jenny, two years ago, this would have been completely to Pike's advantage, but, not now..."

O'Dell: "Kesha definitely holding her own on these terms. Both fighters dialing in pretty well despite the solid defenses opposing them. Leather getting home with consistency. Very even stuff as we head for the bell. There it is. Close. Pike by a whisker."

Tess: "All even at 19 in what's been a good one so far."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "We begin the third on familiar terms. The two long lights working at gunnery range. Kesha wants to work forward and take canvas. Pike in counter, allowing a controlled offensive and scoring well in response..."

Tess: "Pike's movement is excellent, Jenny, a slow circle left away from Kesha's power. Giving a little ground, but not allowing herself to be backed up..."

O'Dell: "Maintaining excellent distance for solid counters that Rosamund is timing very well. And PIKE'S WOBBLED WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Kesha catches the Brit and sends her reeling into the ropes..."

Cassie: "That's the kind of power this girl has. Off hand and not clean and still..."

O'Dell: "Pike in serious trouble. Up against the ropes, sponging as Kesha sits down on her punches and thumps away. Rosamund keeping the guard high, rolling head and shoulders, trying to slip and block, but a lot of leather crashing through those defenses, shaking Pike. Referee looking closely as we head down the stretch. Rosamund hanging on desperately, and there's the bell. Huge round for Kesha, but Pike lives to fight another day."

McCarthy: "29-28 for Kesha after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Pike on the move a little. Seems to have the legs back. Rosamund showing good feet circling back and left, wants space, wants to force Kesha to step forward. Big K doing that, but not recklessly..."

Cassie: "Not at all. She wants to work forward like she has been, but she's not walking into anything from Pike..."

O'Dell: "She is not. Working the jab, closing and dropping in a left before Pike circles out of range. Rosamund establishing her own jab, not running, not dancing, just a slow movement back and left, Kesha turning with..."

McCarthy: "Pike slowing this pace. Kesha might want to press a bit more, but her hopeless corner won't tell her that..."

O'Dell: "Kesha getting stuff done at this slower pace, though. She's still boxing lead. Has Pike in counter. The Brit effective that way, mind, but it's Kesha calling the tune into the final seconds. Five to go. Jabs exchanged and there's the bell. Kesha."

Tess: "39-37 to Big K."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We've settled back into a tactical battle now. And, again, while that might have favored Pike a while back, at the moment it's even stuff. Kesha showing she can box with Rosamund and that she can be effective without landing power blows..."

Tess: "And you always knew she could move like this, as athletic as she is. You knew she had the hands to box. But, it was the discipline that was lacking a while back. Not an issue now."

O'Dell: "Doesn't appear to be. But, let's not forget what Pike's done here. She's slowed this pace to something to her liking, and she's creating opportunities for herself, holding her own with a power hitter who's always a danger to take you out of there..."

McCarthy: "If I'm in Pike's corner, I tell her not to change a thing. She's boxing well, putting together punches in counter, not getting into big exchanges that could go sideways on her."

O'Dell: "She is not. And Kesha not pressing to create that, because she's doing well on these terms as well. No need to take chances and walk into traps that Rosamund is no doubt looking to bait. We're coming down the stretch in the fifth, Kesha with a good right-left and Pike landing a hard right in return. Rosamund circles left. Kesha turns, jabbing to square, and there's the bell. Kesha close."

Cassie: "49-46 for Kesha."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half underway. Pike with that slow, clockwise turn, back and left, creating a sliver of space that Kesha has to step up to close. Pike now looking to score there, not waiting for the counter. Getting that right hand home before Kesha can get off..."

Cassie: "Is it too early to be impressed with Pike again? If this girl get regular work..."

O'Dell: "I don't think it's too early, no. She's showing plenty of boxing ability, and, just as importantly at Tiffany, the ability to manage a girl with a big punch, because, at light, you aren't going very far if you can't do that..."

McCarthy: "I'LL be impressed if she can manage Torv or Palicki, not a random Dancing Hooker..."

O'Dell: "Rosamund slowly taking over the lead in this round, getting off before Kesha, slowing her offensive, forcing her to cover up. Rosamund's timing impeccable. There's not a lot of opening there, but she's getting leather home in it. Ten seconds left in the sixth. GOOD exhange at the bell, with Pike and Kesha both landing hard right hands. Rosamund's round."

Tess: "58-56 with four to go. Far from over."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Back to work and the seventh begins with Pike again looking to manage. She's back to that slow, clockwise circle forcing Kesha to step forward to close space. Pike wants to score at the big blonde does that..."

Cassie: "Big K adjusting a bit here, Jenny. She's getting the hands higher, stepping forward behind them, trying to pick Pike off..."

O'Dell: "Not giving Rosamund much to swing at, that's for sure. Lots of tactical movement as we move through the seventh and DOWN GOES KESHA! Perfectly-placed right hand from Pike drops Big K to her knees!"

Tess: "She absolutely KEYHOLED that punch!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Kesha to her feet at seven. Referee gives her the mandatory and will let this continue and HERE COMES PIKE! Rosamund all in now, no tactical stuff or anything else. She's winging away lusty, sitting down on every punch. Kesha against the ropes, keeping the guard high, running some clock. Pike hammering away, just a blizzard of leather being tossed at Kesha right now and IT'S OVER! Referee stepping in! Kesha not happy about it, but he's shaking his head and waiving this off..."

McCarthy: "Kesha wasn't doing enough. He gave her plenty of rope. She has no complaints..."

O'Dell: "And your winner by TKO7 is Rosamund Pike!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore..."

Tess: "I have our winner, Rosamund Pike, and the obvious question is how it feels to break that FCBA maiden..."

Rosamund(smiling): "Very good, actually. Like I said pre-fight, I didn't fight well the last time here and everyone forgot about what I can do. It was up to me to show them, and I showed them tonight."

Tess: "What's next for Rosamund Pike?"

Rosamund: "More work. Bring it on. BBU or FCBA, I don't care. Just get me opponents!"
