Before: With Neve Campbell signed, Hu takes a big risk facing dangerous Sandra Hess—Hess outraged to be taken for as chump tune up, but that’s the way Hu sees it. Kelly totally confident: “I’m beating Sandra tonight like I was her mommy” the soundbite. Kelly in royal blue bikini top, grey cotton stretch shorts, Sandra in yellow bikini top, black stretch shorts.

During R1: Hu with the shutout, darting in and out with blinding right hand leads, walking around the ring with her palms out and exploiting a tentative Hess’ unusually tight defense.  Kelly just establishing her quickness, touching the blonde where the guard ain’t and commanding the ring.

R2: Hu still content to make quick strike single connects, then dipping out to circle and create angles. Hess calming down, nips Hu with the occasional compact hook coming in, trying to time the creative Asian. Kelly still the boss, dictating the tempo.

R3: Kelly having her way, slashing in and out as Jess blocks., but can’t pull the trigger. All Hu to the final minute when cockiness betrays her. Hess with her back to the ropes, guard high—Hu with her hands down, stepping in and batting wide with Sandra’s body and head, stepping out to taunt—Sandra finally turns a hook to beat Hu to the punch and KELLY IS HURT! Jess comes off the ropes with a shoulder butt to Hu’s chest, spilling the brunette backwards and she nails Kelly with a biting hook on the teeth to put Hu on her backside. Kelly up quickly, takes 8—round ends as the girls glare at each other over the ref.

R4: Hess more confident now, jumping in to meet Hu as the girls trade lead rights-=-Sandra coming away the better girl as Kelly catches hard to the face. Hu trying to skip her way into a better position, but Hess right on her, cuts off the ring, chops out those flashy combinations to start nibbling at Hu’s breasts and face. Midway through the round, Kelly takes another crackling hook on the chin that has her momentarily stutter-stepping. Good round for Hess shows she can fight with Hu.

R5: Sandra now walking her girl down—Kelly in reverse, dancing away, but not initiating the exchanges. Hess letting her hands go, gets good head movement on Kelly, slapping the right, but setting down on the hook to nail Hu repeatedly as the Asian steps out. Kelly lumping up on the right side of her face-she’s getting pushed around a little, and Hess may be the superior combination puncher, getting the better of the exchanges.

R6: Hu turns things around by standing her ground and fighting—hammer and tongs as the girls lick at one another’s tight ribcages and pretty faces—Hess finally breaking down after one heartstopping exchange after another. Hu taking over on the final minute, digging walking lefts and rights to the blonde’s tummy to put Sandra ropeside, then pouring it on. Vicious flailing away from Hu A Hess sags into the ropes, covering up and taking a cudgeling to her ears to the bell. Hu bodying up at the break, forces eye contact as Hess looks dazed.

R7: HESS ANSWERS BACK! Another brawling sequence as the girls step to one another and take turns blasting away with 2 and 3 punch bursts. Hess a little more disciplined, moving her head a little more and coming out of the crouch to clock Kelly’s available chin—Hu wobbly butt at the bell and its Sandra being the bully, walking to Kelly’s corner with her, spewing verbal abuse until the ref intercedes.

R8: Kelly ducking inside Hess;’ jab, opens with splattering lead right on the eye that has Hess wobbly butt—Hu reloading and bouncing another right hand off the blonde’s head and Sandra is hurt. Kelly moving right, stepping in to spank stomach with a wide left, then clout the right hand onto the blonde’s face—stepping out as the blonde wobbles., Midway through the round, Hu bending at the waist to make Sandra miss, slips the right and nails Hess a beautiful left hook, beating Sandra to the punch. Hess’ left sails harmlessly as she corkscrews to the mat, and Hu is jubilant at the knockdown. Sandra ruined, beats the count, but her legs are trembling. Heartless beating to the bell as Hu shoves Sandy to the ropes and lets her hands go, feasting on the blonde’s taut ribcage and uppercutting Hess’ beautiful face back.

R9: Hess looking shot—Hu flicking the jab from the elbow maneuvers her girl to the ropes to work her over in the corners. Hess pushing back arm punches, but the ropes are keeping her up, and Hu is wailing on her now with crashing lefts and rights, bodying up for breathers to keep Hess under control. Hu pumping her fist as the bell—Hess’ eyes closing, mouth pouting open—she’s barely aware of what’s happening to her at this point.

R10: Shutout Kelly Hu. Senseless beating continues as Hess no longer fighting back, sliding along the ropes, Hu beating down the guard then bouncing the head with slicing lefts and rights—where is the ref? Midway through the round, Hu landing clean with jerking hooks and crosses—Hess looks like she might pitch forward to the canvas, but steadies herself to clinch for a break. Kelly slightly arm weary, content to coast in the final minute, standing off as Hess lolls on the ropes, leaning in to jab the tummy, or crack the chin with a looping right hand, but not giving Sandra any chance to land a lucky shot. Kelly awarded the closer than expected decision.

After: Hu badly swollen about the eyes, nonetheless jubilant, smiling as she parades the ring and accepts the crowd’s adulation. Hess beaten to a pulp is immediately helped from the ring—Hu’s back to back shutout rounds to end the fight leaving Sandra battered. Still, Hess had the lead going into the 8^th, but Hu dismissive of the blonde in postfight saying :I could have had her any time I wanted her.”
