On November 21, 2011, the formal announcement was made that marked the end of the storied AWUBA and the phoenix-like rise of the Australian Celebrity Boxing Association (ACB). The new group will be composed of members of  Downunder Boxing, BronzedOz Boxing and Wildetime Boxing, some 43 members in all. It appears that there will be 4 weight classes: flyweight, bantamweight, lightweight and welterweight. A tournament is planned to establish the first champions of the new organization.

 

Unfortunately Mr. Baudo's health soon interfered with the ACB's activities, but then in March of 2014, Mr. Jamie Packer, the owner of GREEN & GOLD MAGAZINE stepped forward to buy control of the ACB and reorganize the federation, launching it with a new card later that same month.
